Cambridge Festival: A Young Person’s Guide to the Life Sciences

Posted on

To watch the event live or later:: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChw1f1iiMbEma7iA4PFVb9w

Join award-winning PhD student, Annie Howitt as she explains how she got into science, the difference she and other colleagues are making and why more young people should get into research. This will be followed by a panel discussion between Annie and five of her PhD friends answering pre-recorded questions from secondary school pupils and live questions from the audience via Twitter using the hashtag #CBCPhD. If you are interested in life sciences or have a son or daughter who wants to learn more about a career in research – then this is the best event to find out more.

Those involved in the films will also be tweeting live using the hashtag #CBCPhD and responding live to your YouTube comments.

NOTE: You do NOT need to book – just save the link above. However, if you book it means you’ll get reminders so you remember to log on at the right time!  To book follow this link: https://camfest_youngpersonsguide.eventbrite.co.uk
