Studying at Long Road is very different to studying at school. You’ll gain a new-found independence over your studies and flexibility with your time. You’ll find yourself surrounded by like-minded peers, all aged between 16 and 19, in a vibrant and mature college environment. You’ll meet new friends from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, religions, and nationalities; our diverse Long Road community will shape the way you view the world and give you the opportunity to explore new aspects of your identity.
You’ll notice that we offer one of the broadest choices of subjects; that’s by design too. As the world changes, we want you to be able to craft a course that is right for you, and we are all about providing inspiring experiences that go beyond the boundaries of the campus and connect you with the real world around us.
The environment on our campus is very similar to the environment found at universities: focused and professional. You have the freedom to wear your own clothes and will call your teachers by their first name. We'll encourage your learning to flourish with independent study periods, giving you flexibility with your time and allowing you to enrich your learning outside the classroom. This is all part of our goal to ensure that you are prepared for your next steps, whether that’s university study, an apprenticeship, or employment.
