Exam Results 2026

Today is a brilliant day at Long Road as we celebrate the achievements of our Results Day 2026 students – all under glorious blue skies and sunshine, which has made the atmosphere around the college feel extra special.

Our students have worked incredibly hard over the past two years, showing determination, resilience and plenty of perseverance along the way. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved.

Results across both A Levels and Applied courses are strong, with many students achieving outstanding top grades. We are equally proud of those who have made exceptional progress, often overcoming significant challenges along the way. Their achievements are a real testament to their hard work and determination.

Our students are now heading off in all sorts of exciting directions, including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, highly competitive degree apprenticeships and apprenticeships, and the world of work. Whatever their next step, we are delighted to see them heading into the future with the confidence, skills and ambition they have developed at Long Road.

Results Day is about so much more than grades, too. It is a chance to celebrate friendships, memorable moments and personal growth. We have watched our students grow into confident, independent young adults, discover new interests, push themselves beyond their comfort zones and develop a real sense of who they are and where they want to go.

We are immensely proud of each and every one of you. You have worked incredibly hard and achieved so much. As you take your next steps, we know you are well-prepared for whatever lies ahead. Good luck on your journey - wherever it takes you, we're confident you're destined for great things!

Today is also a celebration of the Long Road team. Behind every result is a huge amount of hard work from our teaching and support staff. Their dedication and commitment to helping every student achieve their best is something we are incredibly proud of.

There is plenty to celebrate today, and we hope our students take a moment to enjoy it – perhaps with an ice cream in the sunshine! They have worked hard, earned these results and should be incredibly proud of themselves.

We can’t wait to see what they do next. Whatever the future holds, we wish every one of our students the very best of luck – and we hope they’ll always remember that they will be part of the Long Road community.
