Exam Results 2025

Long Road is celebrating a double milestone this summer – the outstanding achievements of its students on Results Day 2025 and the college’s 50th anniversary year. As we look back on five decades of educational excellence, the College is proud to see this year’s cohort continue our tradition of success.

Our students have worked incredibly hard, shown amazing determination, and proved that perseverance really does pay off. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved – and we know this is just the beginning for them.

Results across both A Levels and Applied courses are strong, with many students attaining top grades such as A*A*A* or Triple Distinction. We are equally proud of those who have made exceptional progress during their time at Long Road, often surpassing expectations. Some students have overcome significant challenges and personal hardships to complete their courses, and their resilience and determination are truly commendable.

Our students are now progressing to a wide range of exciting destinations, including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, as well as an increasing number securing highly competitive apprenticeship opportunities. We recognise that academic results are just one part of the sixth form experience. Our students have also grown in confidence, maturity, and personal development since joining the college.

Of course, none of this happens without the whole Long Road team. From teaching teams to support services, every member of staff has played a vital role in helping our learners to achieve their personal best. These achievements are not only a reflection of students own commitment, but also the unwavering support, expertise and encouragement provided by staff across the entire college community.

We are immensely proud of each and every one of you. You have worked incredibly hard and achieved so much. As you take your next steps, we know you are well-prepared for whatever lies ahead. Good luck on your journey - where it takes you, we're confident you're destined for great things!
