Long Road vs Chadwell Heath Academy

Our Academy Squad travelled to London yesterday to take on the CBL England East Region early pace setters Chadwell Heath Academy. Having started the season with two nail-biting losses the Long Road boys were prepared for another close battle which it proved to be.

Long Road started the game well with some excellent pressure defence and jumped out to an early 18-10 lead after the 1st. From here it was nip and tuck all the way until the 4th where the London side made a final run ro try and steal the game. However, the Long Road boys managed to hold on for the win 60-56. 

A strong 21pt outing from guard Kenas Linkevicius who led the team in scoring with Ethan Swan and James Cendana adding 10pts a piece in this game where defence dominated.
