Long Road Photography Superstars!

In these challenging times, we are so proud of our Long Road photography students who have been proactive and successful this year in both local and national photographic competitions.

This term started well when a portrait by student Imogen Cox, was a winner in the photography competition run by Churchill College, Cambridge. The portrait was selected as it represented life in lockdown.

The next triumph was when photography student, Dan Starling, won first prize in the young photographer competition run jointly by the Rotary Club and Cambridge Camera Club. Student Lexi Howard also gained a commendation for her entry into the competition.

Recently, six of our photography students were successful after being shortlisted for a national photography competition run by London Metropolitan University. The judges, who included professional photographers and lecturers at the university, commented on the quality of their images.
