Exam Invigilators

As an Examination Invigilator you will support the Examinations Officer and Examinations Assistant by providing effective and efficient Invigilation during our busy examination period. No previous Invigilation experience is necessary as full training will be provided, but good communication skills are essential as is the ability to work with discretion and reliability. Working hours will be ad-hoc and variable, as determined by exam timetables, and allocated by mutual agreement.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable team-player to join our highly successful team of Progress Coaches. In this role, you will also take a lead on supporting students into University, coordinating a programme of activities and  workshops to promote widening participation and engagement with higher education and degree apprenticeships and to inspire students (including those from under-represented backgrounds) to consider a broad range of post-18 options. You will support colleagues with the UCAS application cycle, support students during results and Clearing, and work closely with our Careers, Employability & Skills Lead to develop initiatives and evaluate their impact.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable team-player to join our highly successful, established team of Progress Coaches. Responsible for a number of tutor groups and offering 1:1 guidance, you will be monitoring the academic progress and supporting the onward progression and broader College experience of an assigned group of KS5 students, helping them to achieve to their maximum potential.  Prior knowledge and experience of working with young people aged 16-18 is preferable, as are excellent interpersonal skills. 


Deputy Director of Student Care, Guidance and Progression

We are seeking to recruit a committed colleague to the post of Deputy Director of Student Care, Guidance and Progression. You will play a key role in implementing and evaluating college’s academic guidance procedures to support a high level of attendance, retention and progression, taking a lead role in implementing disciplinary procedures, and deputising for Directors when required. As well as supporting your own group of students with regular progress reviews and tutorials, the role involves working in partnership with students, parents/carers and fellow professionals to address barriers to learning, and you will work with colleagues across the college to develop and put in place successful interventions.
