Criminology students visit the National Justice Museum

On Monday, our Year 2 Criminology students visited the National Justice Museum in Nottingham for a hands-on look at the criminal justice system.

During the visit, students re-enacted a real trial in the museum’s courtroom, taking on roles including judge, lawyers and jurors. They also took part in an evidence analysis workshop, examining evidence from the historic ‘Brides in the Bath’ case.

The group finished the day with a tour of the old prison, exploring the historic cells and caves beneath the building.

The trip was a great opportunity for students to put their classroom learning into practice and gain a deeper insight into the criminal justice system.
