Managing the Heatwave - Update to Lesson Times

Managing the Heatwave - Update to Lesson Times
Dear students (parents and carers)
With temperatures set to break records as we move through the week, we are changing the shape of the college day to avoid the worst of the extreme temperatures.
Lessons will be shorter and compressed into the earlier, cooler part of the day. Lessons will be 1 hour, not 90 mins, as shown on the timetables below. Tutorials will be 30mins, instead of 45mins, in each lesson block (for example 10am then 10.30am)
| Lesson 1 (U) | 9am - 10am |
| Lesson 2 (R) | 10am - 11am |
| Break | 11am - 11:30am |
| Lesson 3 (P) | 11:30am - 12:30pm |
| Lesson 1 (R) | 9am - 10am |
| Lesson 2 (U) | 10am - 11am |
| Break | 11am - 11:30am |
| Lesson 3 (Q) | 11:30am - 12:30pm |
| Lesson 1 (S) | 9am - 10am |
| Lesson 2 (P) | 10am - 11am |
| Break | 11am - 11:30am |
| Lesson 3 (U) | 11:30am - 12:30pm |
Please remember to stay in the shade and keep hydrated. If you feel unwell, go to Reception and ask for First Aid.
Other activities, including the Junction event on Thursday, will go ahead as planned.
Stay cool,
Steve Dann
Principal
