A Victory for the Tiger Bus Pass!

We’re thrilled to celebrate Long Road Sixth Form College’s amazing students and staff for playing a key role in the Cambridge Citizens campaign to SAVE the Tiger Bus Pass!
Mayor Paul Bristow has asked the Combined Authority to back his plan to safeguard the Tiger Bus Pass, which would secure the future of the Tiger Pass until March 2027.
This win is a powerful reminder of what happens when student voices come together. Long Road students spoke up, organised, and showed just how influential youth social action can be. Your stories, your experiences, and your determination helped highlight how essential affordable travel is for young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
By stepping forward and taking part in this campaign, you proved that young people aren’t just the future — you’re leaders right now.
Your advocacy helped push the Tiger Pass one big step closer to being secured for the long term, ensuring fairer, more accessible travel for thousands of your peers.
This is what community power looks like. ![]()
