November 2019 GCSE Maths and English re-sits

The College offers enrolled Year 1 and Year 2 students the opportunity to resit Maths and English GCSEs in November. These entries are paid for by the student, but students who achieve a Grade 4 or above will receive a refund of the entry fee (minus the College’s administration fee of £10).

Entry requests should be made via the Exams Shop [link] from early September. The deadline for entries is 2.40pm on Friday 27th September 2019. No entries can be made after this date.

Please see Exam Dates 2019 for timetable information.

Summer 2020 Exam Re-sits

Students or former students wishing to re-sit available GCE (A/AS level) or GCSE exams in the summer 2020 examination session can apply to do so from Monday 18th November 2019. The final date for accepting re-sit entries is 2.40pm on Friday 17th January 2020. Entry requests should be made via the Exams Shop.

Please be aware that the College charges an administration fee of £10 per subject for linear qualifications; per unit for legacy specifications and per component for reformed specifications, and that this fee is non-refundable should you withdraw your entry.

Please note that for all reformed linear A Levels, each exam component (paper) for the subject must be retaken.  Marks from previous papers cannot be carried forward. The College will not be able to submit any new coursework (Non-Examined Assessment); the original mark you achieved (post-moderation) will carry forward to be combined with the marks from the retaken exams. Please advise Exams if you submitted coursework as part of your original course. If you are not sure, please let us know.

Summer 2020 resit subjects

A list of available resit subjects will be published in Autumn 2019.
