Collecting your certificates
A level, AS level, GCSE, Level 2 Applied Diploma unit(s), Level 3 Full Diploma / Certificates and Extended Project certificates will be available from Tuesday 1st December 2020.
We encourage all our students to request their certificates be posted. Please visit the online Exams Shop to request your certificates and pay for secure postage.
If you wish to collect your certificates in person, you may do so from the College (Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm). Students can authorise somebody else to collect certificates on their behalf. To do this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of the person who will be collecting the certificates. The nominated person must bring photographic ID of themselves when they come to collect the certificates. Please note, certificates can be collected in person by appointment only, please email email@example.com to arrange the collection of your certificates.
You must bring official photographic ID with you when collecting certificates.
The certificates will be retained for 1 year until the 31st December 2021.
Certificates are valuable documents as they are the official record of exam results and should be looked after very carefully. The College cannot provide replacements if they are lost; you must request replacements from the exam boards directly, for which they charge a fee.
Letter of results for the 2019 or earlier examination series
If you have been asked to provide proof of your results for the 2019 examination series but have been unable to get your certificates from the College due to the pandemic, the College can provide a letter confirming the results we hold on file for you. This is not in lieu of a certificate and you should still make arrangements to collect your certificates or have them posted.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and date of birth and we will provide you with a standard College letter. We can email the letter directly to your higher education institution or employer; please provide an email address.
Replacing lost certificates
If you lose an examination certificate and need to replace it, Awarding Bodies have information on how to do this on their websites. In some cases, they will provide a certifying statement rather than a certificate, but in either case, a fee is payable to provide the replacement.
If you are trying to replace a certificate you achieved while studying at Long Road, you may be asked to provide our centre number (22151) and your candidate number or unique candidate identifier (UCI). If you cannot remember these numbers, please email email@example.com providing your full name, date of birth and the dates you studied with us, and we will then send back any relevant information we still hold. Please note that we no longer retain examination records prior to 2005 on our systems.
