When enrolling on a course at Long Road Sixth Form College, consideration should be given to the costs involved such as transport, meals, equipment, books, trips, stationery and childcare.
To ensure that finance is not a barrier to learning, funding is available to support students from a low income household.
To be eligible for Financial Support, you will need to demonstrate an annual household income ordinarily below £22,000, be studying a qualification up to Level 3 and have been resident in the EEA or Switzerland for three years or more.

Applying for Financial Support
You can apply for Financial Support by completing the Application Form 2019-20 and reading the Guidelines It is a quick and easy process. Please complete the application form and supply recent photocopies of appropriate evidence.
The preferable form of financial proof is a Tax Credit Awards Notice (TCAN) starting 06 April 2019 or a copy of recent means tested benefit dated after April 2019. Photocopies of financial evidence will need to be provided with your application to demonstrate an annual household income showing below £22,000. Please note an application does not guarantee that an award will be made.
