To make sure you feel at home you will be assigned a Progress Coach, a dedicated member of staff who will help and support you as you settle into life in the UK. Your Progress Coach will be on hand to guide you, helping you to stay on target to reach your goals. Working closely with you and your teachers they will help you plan and achieve your next steps, supporting you as you aim high and succeed in your career goals. Our dedicated staff will work with you and your family from the moment you join Long Road to ensure a smooth transition to college life. Whatever courses you decide to study we can provide you with individual support in workshop sessions with subject specialists, focusing on areas such as study skills, time management, essay writing, exam techniques and literary skills. We welcome the international community and can offer you extra tuition with specialist teachers to develop your English language skills.
We know that studying in a new country is a big change. If you need someone to talk to visit our friendly Student Support Team who are available to discuss any concerns you have and give you professional advice. If you feel more comfortable talking to someone your own age or just want to make some more new friends, our Student Support team can put you in touch with our specially trained peer mentors who are current students who can help you settle into college life.
