What happens when?
Closing date: Wednesday 10th January 2019.
Remember: all applications should be made using the UCAS Progress website (CAP schools, who will explain what you need to do) or the Long Road online application form (all other applicants), in which case, please click here to register or track your submitted application.
Between November 2018 and March 2019: Admissions interviews will take place at Long Road.
Offers will be confirmed by email within four weeks of the interview.
Students must confirm that they wish to hold their offer within two weeks of receiving the email.
Offer Holders Days
Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th June 2019. These are for all students who are holding an offer to study at Long Road. The event has to be booked in advance as we timetable applicants to see each of their subject areas. The applicants will be allocated a date to attend and notified prior to the event which date they have been allocated.
July 2019: Enrolment interview appointments will be published on our on-line application system for all applicants who have confirmed they wish to hold their offer. Emails will be sent to inform applicants their status has changed – please ensure your email address is up to date on our system and not your school email address.
22nd August 2019: GCSE results are issued. Students enter the results on their on-line account for Long Road
28th or 29th August 2019: Enrolment interviews take place for new students. Bring your results with you so we can verify your grades.
Please do not book holidays during this time as you will need to enrol in person. We give you an individual interview to confirm your course choices in the light of your exam results.
Induction Day for Year 1 students
5th September 2019: All Year 1 students in college to start their courses.
