Politics and Sociology A level students have just had an opportunity to work with thirty students from the International Business College in Fredericia. The Danish students were here as part of their global studies course which includes trips to Cambridge, the USA and Germany.
The Danish students gave a short presentation on their own school and provided a good insight into the Danish education system. Long Road students then worked in small groups with the Danes to learn about each other’s society and political system. As all the Danish students had excellent English language skills, everyone was soon enjoying exchanging ideas, with topics ranging from discipline in schools to the different tax rates in the two countries. Long Road students were amazed to hear that not only did Danish students not have to pay university fees, but they also received payment for going there.
All the students really enjoyed meeting each other and found it an invaluable experience.
