The final date for accepting re-sit entries for students wishing to re-sit available GCE (A/AS level)/GCSE units in the summer 2019 examination session is 2:40pm on Wednesday 16 January.
Students still studying at Long Road can make entries by completing the relevant hard copy form (available in Registry) then paying by cash, cheque or ParentPay at the Finance office in the Registry department.
Former students must obtain and complete the relevant Former Student Re-sit Form. The deadline for submitting a re-sit entry is 2.40pm 16th January 2019.
Former students must be aware that the college charges an administration fee per unit for legacy specifications and per component for reformed specifications, and that any such fees are non-refundable should students decide after the college entry closing date to cancel any unit or linear entry. In the event of cancellation of a unit or linear entry, the relevant Awarding Body fee can only be refunded if the cancellation is received two working days before the Awarding Body entry closing date.
Please note that for all reformed linear A Levels, each exam component (paper) for the subject must be retaken. Marks from previous papers cannot be carried forward. The college will not be able to submit any new NEA (coursework), the original mark achieved (post moderation) will carry forward to be combined with the marks from the retaken exams.
