Student achievements celebrated at second award ceremony

Teachers, progress coaches, senior college leaders and governors met to congratulate our second group of students on their outstanding achievements in academic and community work. College principal Christine Sherwin presented certificates before a special afternoon tea was enjoyed by all.

Paulina Boguszewska for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma – she is expected to attain a distinction.

Samuel Heavens for academic achievement in the Level 3 Media Diploma – he is expected to attain a distinction. Samuel was also commended for gaining a place at the British Film Institute National Academy and for his commitment to college open evenings.

Jack Horrocks was commended for his prompt and thoughtful actions when a missing small boy was found by the busy Long Road.

Jack Sawcer was commended for his commitment to the college including at open evening and also for having served as a Student Governor.

Freddie Hill for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Sport Diploma – he is expected to attain a distinction.

Harry Morino for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Media Diploma – he is expected to attain a distinction.

Jonathan Durham for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Sport Diploma – he is expected to attain a distinction.

Jinu Gigi for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma – she is expected to attain a distinction.

Nicola Batty for academic achievement in the Level 3 Applied Science Diploma, for which she is predicted a distinction and for her work in her Use of Maths and Chemistry A levels.

Mollie Messenger for academic achievement in the Level 3 Sport Diploma – she is expected to attain a distinction.

Evelyn Morrison for her enthusiastic participation in our Active Sports Gymfit programme. Evelyn is now able to lead the sessions.

Jonathan Carter for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Media Diploma – he is expected to attain a distinction.

Jordan Glass for academic achievement in his Chemistry, Biology and Maths A levels. Jordan is expected to attain very high grades.

Rhiannon Mundy for academic achievement in the Level 2 and Level 3 Art Diploma – she is expected to attain a distinction.
