On the 26th November, 40 Photography A Level students participated a trip to London to see the beautiful photographs in the Taylor Wessing exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.
The work was thought provoking and inspired the students to try things out with their own projects. In the gallery we were delighted to meet ex Long Road student Andy Chalmers, who had come with his class to the exhibition.
He told that he was enjoying the first year of his Photography degree at the University of Suffolk. He felt “the skills he had learnt in traditional photography at Long Road, gave him an advantage as the first unit they were working on was entirely based around film and most students had never used it before.”
