A group of A level Photography students attended a Visual Literacy workshop provided by the Photographers’ Gallery in London. This was run by the talented and well-known photographer Gisela Torres and based on the photographic work shown as a part of the Deutsche Borse Photography Foundation Prize 2018. She made the workshop interesting and fun and the work accessible. The students were exploring visual literacy through their responses to the work and how it was presented in the gallery space. The students will be able to use the skills they learnt to reflect on their own work as they start their new projects.
