Merry Christmas from Long Road Sixth Form College

Posted on

Throughout November, students across the Long Road Art Department have been working hard and putting their creative skills to the test in a competition to design the 2018 Long Road Christmas Card!

On Monday 3 December Principal Yolanda Botham collected all submissions from students across the Graphic Design, Extended Diploma in Art & Design and Art Foundation courses. After much deliberation it was decided that the standard of work was so high that it was not possible to pick one overall winner!

Five designs were selected from over 40 submissions; with the winning students announced as Esme Gardner, Ellie Jepson, Hollie Cooper, Emma Hewson and Zoe Ruffel Ward. Congratulations to each of these students, who will soon be awarded a £25 Amazon Voucher as their prize!

We would also like to thank Jade Park, Cameron Woolley, Jess Gledhill, Annabel Harvey, Elliot Macphail, Sam Dawson, Atlanta Davis, Emily Osbourne, Kieran O’brien, Alina Migdal, Jaye Manaois, Jasmine Ash, Lucy Wilson, Matthew Clark, Aimee Cooke, Archie Edwards, Dan Lamberton, Dylan Wood, Ellen Footman, Freya Griffiths, Gabby Ruiz-Castellannos Bannister, Hannah Westhead, Harvey Laidlaw, Jordan Sterry, Katie Flack, Kitty Wellaway, Lea Keininger, Martin Rogers Lamarcq, Matt Booth-Brown, Max Hunter, Megan Rayner, Scarlett Taylor, Tanisha Smith and Zephyr Tillotson-Roland for all their wonderful entries!

We can’t wait to send out our Christmas cards to all our students, parents and applicants – which design will you receive?!
