Long Road Life Film Challenge

Posted on

We are looking to create a new promotional video for the college to be used as part of our June 2019 Open Evening marketing campaign. This is an excellent opportunity for students to build their portfolios and show off their creative skills. We love the chance to showcase our students work and talents, and this exciting opportunity gives the world a ‘students-eye view’ of life at Long Road Sixth Form. Our students are our best asset as a college and we want to see what they can do!

Students can work alone or in groups, all are welcome to enter. Entries may be uploaded to the College Vimeo account, with all students credited for their work. The winning entry will be featured on the college website homepage and as part of the college marketing campaign – a bonus prize may also be up for grabs!

The deadline for submissions is 4pm on Monday 27th May. Please submit your work to

The idea of the video is to reflect life as a Long Road student – whether that is over a day, a week or the full 2 years – with a theme should be #LongRoadLife or Proudly Long Road.

The video should showcase the college grounds and the range of facilities (both academic and enrichment/leisure) the college has to offer.
