This Wednesday a group of 72 French students from Levallois Perret in central Paris visited Long Road to get a taste of what life is like as a sixth form student in Cambridge.
While at Long Road the students spent a morning lesson in the LRC having a meet and greet with 2 classes of Long Road students and 17 student ambassadors. They then got to experience lessons across the college, participating in a wide range of different subjects. The day ended with lunch in the Food Centre before heading off for a treasure trail of Cambridge.
This superb trip is organised by French physics and chemistry teacher Vincent Languille who observed Physics lessons for a week a few years ago and has been bringing his classes for a cultural visit to Cambridge every year since. As part of their cultural visit to Cambridge the students enjoy punting, visiting historical buildings around the town, playing cricket and riding bikes!
We hope that our French guests enjoyed visiting us as much as we enjoyed hosting them!
