Friday 3 April
OfQual have now announced how they would like to proceed with the awarding of grades for A Levels and GCSE Qualifications this summer. Attached is the letter to students from OfQual. Please read this carefully.
The full release is on the OfQual Website: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/how-gcses-as-a-levels-will-be-awarded-in-summer-2020
We will be looking at this in detail this afternoon and determining the course of action we need to take to submit grades. Please bear with us while we do this, we need to get it right.
It is not yet clear how this works for Applied General courses, and we may need to wait for additional guidance from the awarding bodies, such as BTEC, before we know.
We will, of course, communicate with all of you once we have understood the process fully, and in the meantime wish you a restful Easter break.
