Enter the Into Film Awards today!

Posted on

The Into Film Awards sets out to discover and showcase young filmmaking talent, with categories designed to highlight the large pool of young creatives in the UK; encouraging children and young people aged 5-19 from all backgrounds and with all abilities to get involved. The Into Film Awards is also designed to be a lot of fun, with famous faces and incredible talent from across the film industry on hand to present the Awards.

The 6th annual Into Film Awards will take place in March 2020, and this year entering the Awards not only gives you the chance to be nominated and join the star-studded ceremony in London, but every single verified submission will also be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 worth of filmmaking equipment for the filmmakers, film clubs or schools!

That means that even if you don’t get nominated, there’s still a chance you could walk away with heaps of new equipment to enhance your filmmaking potential for next year’s Awards!

The Categories

  • Best Film 11 Years and Under
  • Best Film 12-15 Years
  • Best Film 16-19 Years
  • Best Documentary
  • Best Animated Film
  • Film Club of the Year 12 and Under
  • Film Club of the Year 13 and Over
  • Teacher of the Year
  • Film Reviewer of the Year
  • Ones to Watch

Closer to the time an Audience Choice category will give you the chance to vote for your favourite film out of all of the nominees in the filmmaking categories. The vote takes place via social media, so the more striking, socially relevant or entertaining your film is, the better!

Entries will remain open until 6 December 2019, which gives you over six months to work on your films, including the summer holidays!

Before entering, please make sure to read of the Into Film Competitions section of our general terms and conditions as well as the T&Cs page for the prize draw.
