Links between Long Road Sixth Form College and Silkeborg Gymnasium continued with a visit to the College by four Danish English students. The students, Laura Nielson, Amanda Larsen, Emilie Farø and Sarah Aaen, were selected from a ballot of able English language students (other Silkeborg students were chosen to go to France, Spain or Germany), to spend a week living with the families of three Long Road students (Fiona Middleton, Yasmine White and Holly Barratt) and shadowing our students during the College day.
There was ample time to experience the historic, architectural – and of course retail – glories of Cambridge. One visit was to the Fitzwilliam Museum, accompanied by two Long Road staff members.
