Students prepared for the event through tutorials, carrying out research into the exhibitors, planning which questions to ask and gaining insights into the variety of options available to them.
“The event was a great success,” says Careers Manager Andy Goodwin. “We are very grateful to the support we are given by local companies and organisations. This was an invaluable opportunity forstudents to develop their progression plans. Perhaps more than ever before, it is vital that students are aware that competition to gain a place at university, on apprenticeships or in employment is running very high. For this reason, we encourage students to be aware of all options available to them.”
