Last weekend Ruth Laslett, our Head of Visual and Performing Arts, and the Trustee Director for Rowan Cambridge invited us all to the ‘Cambridge Seen’ art exhibition at Long Road!
The exhibition took place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February from 11am – 4pm, here at Long Road Sixth Form College. Over 150 works created by accomplished artists and inspired amateurs were on sale.
A fantastic weekend was had by all who attended, and Rowan sold more canvases than they had expected, raising a fantastic grand total of £5532 for their students with learning disabilities!
Volunteers from Rowan said the Long Road LRC (Learning Resource Centre) was a brilliant venue and the event ran smoothly all weekend!
