This summer seven students from Long Road Sixth Form College were chosen to participate in the Young Arts competition 2015 run by Granta and Cam Decorative and Fine Art society (DFAS). Judging took place in early July during the Arts Summer Show.
Six of our A level Art and Design students and one Art and Design Level 3 Diploma student, Megan Pritchett , Rossie Bibby, Beth Greenwood, Freya Neighbour, Aurelia Coster, Andrew Wilson and Ed Allen were selected for the exhibition that was held at Cambridge central library.
We are delighted that Aurelia Coster (pictured), who studied A level Art and Design, Photography and Sport at Long Road, was awarded the DFAS First Prize for a painting of her brother.
