Art & Design Level 3 Diploma students investigate public art projects
Posted on

Art & Design Level 3 Diploma students visited the nearby Great Kneighton housing development to meet lead public artist for the project, Nils Norman. One of Nils’ projects has been to design a bird screen, which is situated by the side of a pond. This makes it easier to watch birds without disturbing them. Nils then showed our students a recreational area for which he is creating public art: back at College students worked with him on their own designs for the recreational area, which included bridges and skate parks.
