Just before Christmas, a lucky group of over 50 of our Applied Sports students and staff spent an amazing day out in London visiting the famous Body World exhibition.
The Body World exhibition, created by Dr Gunther von Hagens’ renowned exhibition of real human bodies has sparked curiosity and awe around the world with over 47 million visitors globally. Visitors journey through the human body and discover the magic and mysteries that lie underneath the skin.
Students spent their day studying the real human bodies donated to medical research and suspended in time by a process called ‘plastination’ which reveals the inner anatomical structures and functions of the human body.
After spending two hours at the exhibition brushing up on their anatomical knowledge the group headed off to Piccadilly Circus for food and a Christmas shopping session!
