Last Wednesday a group of Year 2 Applied Science students went on a trip to London to visit Salesforce; the worlds number 1 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, as part of the Career Ready Employer Engagement Programme. Students were shown around the Salesforce Office and listened to talks giving them an insight on how big businesses operate.
A great day was had by all with student Joe saying “The Salesforce trip was an amazing experience, it showed that the employers really care about the employees and really gave me a sense of ohana within the company. I really enjoyed the way the presentation was given in a casual informal way.”
When asked about the trip, student Saff said “The trip to salesforce was really interesting and I learnt a lot from the day. The presentations from each of the associates were really interesting and I learnt a lot from them.”
Finally, Dan said “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Salesforce more than I thought I would. It very much opened my eyes to how companies can operate and what type of people you could meet and what doors can open after college and University. Overall the experience was great and I’d happily go back for another visit if offered.”
