Examinations Officer

We are seeking to recruit a highly organised team player, who can demonstrate a flexible approach to working practices, and who possesses the confidence to communicate effectively with our college students, staff, and also with professionals from other organisations and examining bodies.

Learning Support Assistant

Working within our Academic Support team, providing assistance to students who require support with note-taking or other regular tasks both in lessons and in the study skills centre. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of studying within a higher or further education establishment, and will be enthusiastic, reliable and have great communication skills.

This is a great opportunity for a person keen to gain experience working with students within a sixth form college environment.

Drama and Theatre A Level Course Team Leader

We require an experienced Drama and Theatre Studies teacher to join our dedicated team of teachers in enabling our students to achieve their full potential and take lead for the A-Level Drama and Theatre course. Ideally, you will be a dynamic subject specialist, with the ability to provide consistently high-quality lessons and promote a positive and professional example to both staff and students.

Psychology Teacher

We are seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic teacher who can teach on our A-Level and Applied Level 3 Psychology courses. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching to A-Level and will be committed to our ethos of working in partnership with individual students to ensure that each achieves their full potential. The ability to also teach Sociology and Criminology will be of great advantage.

Art and Visual Communications Teacher

We are seeking a suitably qualified and dedicated professional to join our highly regarded Visual and Performing Arts Department, teaching on A Level Art and Level 4 Art Foundation. The department offers A-Level Art, Photography and Design Technology, Applied Art and Graphic Design, and Level 4 Art Foundation. The ideal candidate will be able to teach across the departmental provision.

Please note that this post will require teaching Twilight sessions.


IT Services Apprentice

Working in a customer-focused and service orientated team you will be assisting in the configuration, implementation, operation and maintenance of the College’s IT Hardware, Software and Networks. Supporting both Students and Staff with PC’s, Macs, Printers, Projectors, IP Telephones and Mobile devices.

This Apprenticeship will last approximately 18 months and will involve day release to West Suffolk College throughout the Apprenticeship.
