Progression Week: Thinking about your future career paths after Long Road
Monday 17 – Friday 21 June

“What happens if I don’t want to go to University?”
“How do I apply for University?”
“What are my options for after Long Road?

You may have already started asking yourself some of these questions, and with your first year at Long Road coming to a close, this is a vital time to start thinking about what happens after Year 2. Progression Week will give you the information and advice you need to start making informed choices on where you might want to go next.  All week we’ve organised a range of subject-specialist guest speakers to visit our campus to give you information and advice on Progression; with the aim being to give you an insight into what your different options are and how your courses are relevant for different career paths. Check out the full timetable of events below to see what you can get involved with!

After Long Road Parents Event – Tuesday 18 June, 18:00 – 20:00. Long Road campus.

This is an opportunity specifically for parents to find out about some of the different progression routes open to students after they finish Long Road. It is aimed at Parents of Year 1 students but all parents are welcome to attend. Speakers include Anglia Ruskin University, University of East Anglia apprenticeship opportunities and industry professionals. This is a parent only event and we do not encourage students to attend as they have a range of opportunities to discover progression options throughout the week.

To book your talks (max 4 per person) at the event, visit: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/after-long-road-parent-event-2019-tickets-59226984505
