Level 3 Applied Courses
Level 3 Diplomas are two-year courses which combine practical learning with the study of theory. Although each subject is related to a general area of employment, the skills you develop can be transferred to a wide range of careers. To create a full study programme you need to choose the equivalent of 3 courses; these can also be combined with A Levels
Entry requirements:
At least five GCSE Grade 4s in a range of subjects including English (a Merit in the subject applied for if taken as an applied course at Level 2).
Students with at least seven GCSEs at Grade 4 may include one or more A levels in their programme subject to meeting any additional A Level subject entry criteria.
Students with a Distinction grade in a related Level 2 Diploma may be considered with a Grade 3 in GCSE English.
Assessment:
Some Diplomas at Long Road are assessed fully by non-examination assignments, but others have externally-marked exams.
Your future:
You can use your Diploma to progress to university, an apprenticeship or employment.
