Level 2 Applied Courses
You will develop creativity and confidence while producing various media products. The course takes an innovative approach and provides opportunities for improving practical skills which will bring your ideas to life. The course offers you a chance to work as a member of a production team to develop your problem solving and communication skills. Linked with these practical skills sessions, you will learn about the creative and media industries.

The course is divided up into seven units. Some of the units are for individual projects while others are group productions. You will be following professional practice at all times, developing your skills to work in the creative and media industries. You will have contact with creative and media professionals at various stages in the year. Throughout the year you will have the chance to engage your creativity in producing short films using professional filming equipment and editing software. You will also develop skills in graphic design and photography.

- Students who have not achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths must retake these as part of their study programme.
