Level 2 Applied Courses
These one-year programmes, unique to sixth-form providers, give students an alternative pathway to Level 3 study, apprenticeships and employment with training.
With an emphasis on applied learning and opportunities for direct employment sector experience, including work placements, you will develop a range of skills to help you be effective in the workplace and take on the challenge of Level 3 study.
At least 4 GCSE’s at Grade 3 in GCSE Maths and GCSE English.
Students who have not achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE Maths or GCSE English must retake these subjects as part of their study programme.

You will be assessed by a combination of coursework and examination.
