Girl’s Football Team qualify For AoC Sport National Championships
Congratulations to our Girl’s football team won the AoC Sport Regional 7 a-side tournament and have now qualified for the AoC Sport National Championships!
The National Championships will take place in April 2022 and will be held at the University of Nottingham and their surround facilities.
Long Road topped a group of 4 by beating Easton College 3 – 1, East Norfolk Sixth Form 2 – 1 before finishing the last group game by drawing 2 – 2 with Hills Road. Our girl’s then went on to beat Peterborough Regional College 3 – 1 in the semi-finals and then finished the day by beating SEEVIC 1 – 0 in the final.
